Game Review
In a surprising turn of events at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Nottingham Forest secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League clash. This result defied pre-match expectations, as Tottenham were considered favorites, especially playing at home. The match began with an unexpected dominance from Nottingham Forest, who took the lead just before halftime through Igor Jesus. His goal in the 45th minute set the tone for the visitors, who were relentless in their pursuit of victory. The second half saw Morgan Gibbs-White (GAP +0.7%) double Forest's lead in the 62nd minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Tottenham. The final blow came in the 87th minute when substitute Taiwo Awoniyi sealed the win with a well-taken goal. Tottenham's lineup saw two changes from their previous match, with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven (GAP +4.1%) coming in, replacing Radu Drăgușin and Souza. These changes were part of a tactical adjustment by the home team manager, though they failed to deliver the desired impact. Nottingham Forest made a single change, introducing Omari Hutchinson in place of Nicolás Domínguez, which proved effective as Hutchinson contributed to the team's dynamic play. Matz Sels (GAP +2.1%) was instrumental in goal for Nottingham Forest, making several crucial saves to keep a clean sheet. Ola Aina (GAP +3.9%) also stood out, providing stability in defense and contributing to the team's overall performance. This defeat leaves Tottenham in a precarious position as they struggle to maintain consistency in their form. For Nottingham Forest, this victory is a significant boost, enhancing their momentum as they climb the league table. The result highlights the competitive nature of the Premier League, where any team can triumph on their day. Post-match reactions emphasized the tactical discipline and execution by Nottingham Forest, with their head coach praising the team's resilience and ability to capitalize on Tottenham's vulnerabilities. Tottenham, on the other hand, will need to regroup and address their defensive frailties as they look to bounce back in their next fixture.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
